Eldrilese

Eldaril is a country that borders Darfuria to the east. The two are separated by a mountain range known as the Barrier Peaks, and the Dragons' Rest Hills.

Eldrilese sounds quite different to Darfurian and the rules of the language are quite different. People from the two lands will need to study the language of the other to become proficient.

In the course of our games, we have learned that Ue-Oali means 'Highport'. We also know that Ai-Ny means 'place of birds' and Âi-ghg means 'place of fish'. 'Birds' (Ny) is considered a male noun, whereas 'fish' (ghg) is considered a female noun. This explains the different vocal sounds, shown by the accent, or lack thereof, on the A at the start of the name. Plural nouns do not seem to change their gender. Perhaps both birds and fish, in this case, are uncountable nouns.
