Taummoar
Tau (rhymes with 'cow') - mow (what you do to a lawn with a lawnmower) - are (rhymes with 'star'). Stress on the first syllable.
Taummoar is located in the plains between The Qwarm and the foothills of the great Barrier Peaks that divide Darfuria from Eldaril. There are three roads out of Taummoar - north to O'Pruudth, north east to Aegoi and south west to Friüg. The population is about 1100.
There is no decent alchemist in Taummoar. Anyone requiring alchemist services should travel to Friüg.
The Captain of the Guard is Rashil Brigeld. He works from the town hall.
There is a guardpost at the each of the three main roads out of town. Each is overseen by four corporals, one of which is always on duty, as are two privates. Each group of corporals is overseen by a sergeant and the three sergeants report to Captain Brigeld.
Several privates work the guard posts. One of the soldiers at the guardpost on the road to Aegoi is called Private Smiglins. Smiglins is a young and eager recruit serving as a private in the village guard of Taummoar. Despite his lack of experience, Smiglins is determined to prove himself as a capable and dependable member of the guard. He is known for his enthusiasm and willingness to learn, eagerly taking on any task assigned to him by his superiors. Smiglins takes his duty seriously, diligently patrolling the streets and assisting his fellow guards in maintaining order within the village. While he may still have much to learn, Smiglins' dedication and determination make him a promising asset to the guard and the community.
There is a small jail next to the town hall where prisoners are held until a magistrate decides their fate.
